You can go so far as to automate the process if your calendar supports it. For example, Specialized Programs is able to copy public events to your personal calendar so you can compare them with your plans. Keep these calendar apps on your phone and on your computer to get notifications as quickly as possible.

6. Create Entertaining Time Blocks

Not all events are one-time, so you may need to make more long-term schedule changes for them. For example, let’s say there’s a concert in your town with a new concert playing every Thursday night at eight. It’s not unrealistic to go to everyone – it just requires a little change of time.

Using the “Months” view of your scheduling software, you can drag tasks around to create time blocks for such recreational purposes, That way, a different time can always be set for the concert since seven/eight on a Thursday night. You can create similar blocks whenever your schedule allows them to make the most of your time.

Despite this, all hopes of appearing in your favorite show are not lost. Just take the time to check your calendar, and you may end up taking longer than you thought.
