AMLO does not rule out the application of the third dose to COVID-19, El Siglo de Torreón

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that his government does not rule out the application of a third booster dose of covid-19 vaccines that would start with the elderly.

At a morning press conference from the facilities of the 52nd Infantry Battalion, the Federal President stressed that despite the fact that the number of infections is decreasing, “We should not trust ourselves”, so he urged the population that has not been vaccinated against the pandemic to do so and protect themselves.

“The pandemic is down, but we should not trust ourselves and the best thing is that those who have not been vaccinated, who agrees to be vaccinated, protected and it is not mandatory, it is not by force, it is voluntary, but we must continue to vaccinate, said the President and chaired his morning conference of Zacatecas.

“Vaccination of (adolescents) 15 to 17 years has already begun, and we are vaccinating retarded and a third dose is not excluded, starting with older adults,” he said.
