The paramedic admitted that it occurred to her to leave with him, but she feels that by staying and finding someone “more suitable” for her, she feels that “things happen for a reason.”
While Adam said it “wrecked nerves” when he became the first bombshell to return to the villa since competing in the 2018 contest.
He added that he gave the show another go because of “how good” his first experience was, and that it would be “surprising” if he found the strong connection he felt he had with Paige.
Elsewhere in the episode, the members were briefly reunited with their friends and family when they visited a villa.
Former England striker Michael Owen didn’t show up to visit his daughter Gemma, but his wife Louise shared her thoughts on her time on the series.
After Gemma asked her father what she thought of the way she was behaving, Louise told her, “Honestly, he’s very proud of you, very proud.”
Her mother also admitted that she voted for Luca to be paired with her on the first day.
However, her friend Sarah, who also came to visit, admitted that a photo was circulating on social media in which Luca bears a striking resemblance to Michael Owen.
When the families met, Luka’s mother, Maria, said that she liked Gemma’s “values and morals” and that the couple had the same jokes.
While Luka’s fishmonger’s father, Michael, who arrived in his fish-style flip-flops, told his son that Gemma was “bringing you up to speed”.
When Tasha’s parents came in, they admitted that they thought she would be a good fit for Andrew from the beginning, adding, “You can see it in your eyes, you’re shining. This is the first time I’ve seen this in a boy.
And after an emotional reunion, Andrey’s mother said of Tasha, “I see you’re completely besotted by her,” jokingly adding, “Then you didn’t ask her to marry you?”
Dami had to virtually greet his sister Femi and cousin Alicia, who let him know that his grandmother was watching him.
Meanwhile, India’s mother Dee and her sister Shaq made it clear that they were unimpressed by Dami’s behavior at Casa Amor.
Her mother said, “Behaviour, and I’m sure Shaq will tell Dami, he hasn’t been acquitted yet. It hasn’t cleared up in my eyes yet…
When Dami finally met her mother, he immediately apologized for his behavior and admitted that some of his actions were “immature”.
Ekin-Su’s mother Sezer and brother Arda also arrived along with Davide’s mother Nadia and sister Valeria.
Speaking in Italian, Nadia told her son that she could tell that Ekin-Su was “sincere” in her emotions, adding, “By the way she looks at you, she’s up to her ears.”
Ekin-Su’s brother also admitted that he “never saw my sister look at a guy the way she looks at you.”
When Paige’s mother, Samantha, came to visit, she admitted that she was “not bought” by her daughter’s relationship with Adam, and felt that she felt better with her previous villa partner, Jacques.
However, Adam’s father Billy said he thought Paige was “amazing” and “a good down to earth girl”.
Actress and comedian Amy Schumer also appeared during the Love Island: After Sun show via video link to play a game with the remaining finalists.
She introduced Davide, Paige and Luka, and the After Sun jury went head-to-head with the islanders to see who guessed right.
