Chelsea live up to the European Champions’ tag after considering Juventus to seal the last 16 places

Thomas tuchel once said he would build Chelsea to a side that no team would want to play against and he did not lie.

After 10 months at the helm, everything he said is manifested. The Blues have won the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup. In addition, they currently play their best football in several years.

The thing about this Chelsea team is that they have no weaknesses. Regardless of the staff on the field, the goals can come anywhere.

Such unpredictability has served the team very well. On Tuesday, they made another statement after thinking 4-0 for Juventus at Stamford Bridge.

Blues beat Juventus

Chelsea have blown away many teams in recent months but what they did with Bianconeri was absolutely exceptional.

The Blues dominated the Italian side from start to finish and were just as clinical. They made the 1-0 turn in Turin look like a successful result.

Juventus was simply not a match for the English team. They were lucky to end the first half just one goal below after Trevoh Chalobah pushed the ball home in the 25th minute.

Tuchel’s team continued to spin and added three more goals in the second half. It was all thanks to strikes by Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner. A 4-0 result will always be emphatic but it could have been more and that is just a proof of how dominant Chelsea was.

Chelsea is currently the best in Europe

It can be argued that Chelsea were not the best team in Europe when they won the Champions League last season. But they have been on a completely different level this semester.

Blues are currently in unstoppable form and conquer everything before them. They are three points ahead of the top of the Premier League table. They are now also almost certain of winning their Champions League group after thinking about Juventus.

“It was a very strong performance and an outstanding result. We knew we had to be patient and at the same time be responsible for the rhythm and intensity,” Tuchel said after the match, quoted by Chelseafc.com.

He gave full credit to his players for their achievements. He said:

“We had to take care of the details, when we were going to accelerate the game and be sharper as in the first game, and the team did all this. It was a fantastic achievement from everyone, so full credit to the players – what an effort, what an attitude.”

Tuchel further added:

“To score so many goals against a team that defends itself so well is a fantastic achievement so it was a fantastic evening for us with a fantastic result. It is important now to enjoy it, not to get carried away without enjoying it. “

Based on their current form, no team in Europe is better than Chelsea. They finally live up to the European Champion tag.
