Ekin-Su explodes in rage on Love Island after Jay’s revelations caused chaos

Ekin-Su exploded in anger on Love Island, claiming that she was “taken away” by her partner Jay after discovering that he was interested in dating another islander.

The couple had an explosive argument during Thursday’s episode after Jay admitted he wanted to get to know Paige.

Speaking around the campfire, Jay told Ekin-Su, “Obviously, you must have felt that I was a little out of my mind today and yesterday, and that’s only because I want to be honest with my feelings.

“I feel that because I moved so fast with you, I did not have the opportunity to get to know one particular islander here, namely Paige.

“I wanted to tell you first because I respect you and I have to respect you.”

Jay told Dami and India that the conversation “couldn’t have been better” after Ekin-Su seemed to take the news well – before she changed her mind.

She said, “First, I take back everything I said here. I was calm, collected, and now I was simply amazed by what you did.

“You knew that during the reconnection, to stay safe, I would choose you. You might have recognized Paige from the start.

“Why are you opening up to me? Saying all those cute things like “I can’t turn my head.”

“You totally brought me here. I was sincere with you, David could have gone home, but I chose you, and now you suddenly want to meet Paige.

“She’s in a secure relationship, you know how stuffy you look. You are always worried about what everyone thinks of you.

“Mage, you should write this on your fucking forehead. The biggest player here is you, you deserve the biggest Oscar.”

Leaving, she said: “He turned me on, he told me all this nonsense ***. He wants to know Paige, that’s what it is. No woman deserves this.”

Standing up for Jay, Jacques, who is connected to Page, told Ekin-Su, “He contacted you and found out who you were in two days, mate, a fucking headache.

“That’s why he does it, why people can’t recognize each other.”

Later in the episode, Paige bursts into tears in the locker room, questioning Jacques’ feelings for her after his reaction to Jay’s revelations.

She said, “He’s like, ‘Yeah, go talk to Jay’ and all that stuff, that’s not exactly what I want.

“I’m just a little like you pushing so hard because you don’t feel the same way. Either you have all my efforts, or nothing.”

The ITV2 episode also featured new bombshell Charlie choosing Ekin-Soo and Tasha for a romantic date in the jacuzzi on Hideaway Terrace where they shared strawberries and a glass of champagne.

Similarly, new girlfriend Danica got close to Davide on Thursday’s episode, in which the couple shared their first kiss.

The episode follows ITV’s announcement that there will be two episodes of the popular dating reality show in 2023.

Love Island will arrive in the new year when a new group of islanders travel to South Africa to find love, and the show will also run as usual in the summer of 2023 when the contestants will spend eight weeks in a villa in Mallorca.

ITV previously aired a winter series of the show in January 2020 which featured the islanders living in a villa in Cape Town, South Africa.

Paige Turley and Finley Tapp won the series for £50,000 in prize money.

Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
