NHL star Evander Kane’s ongoing divorce with ex-wife Anna is getting uglier.
The San Jose Sharks player – in court documents obtained by TMZ – has accused his foreign wife of having faked a pregnancy with their other children since July. The baby would reportedly be in February 2022.
In the legal documents, Kane requests that a judge order Anna to do a mental examination to prove that she is suitable to take care of their one-year-old daughter Kensington – for whom Kane also requested full custody.
Kane, who is currently suspended by the NHL for violating covid-19, claims that Anna carried “some kind of pregnancy belly” to deceive him and caused him mental anxiety.
He claims that the latest medical bills show that Anna underwent an abortion in July.
In separate court documents, TMZ reports that Anna confirmed that she had an abortion in July and said: “I was less than forthcoming with [Evander] having regard to my decision. “
Anna, according to her court documents, maintains that she is mentally stable and is fully capable of taking care of the couple’s daughter. She has reportedly asked the court to reject her ex’s request.
TMZ says that Kane was granted temporary custody of Kensington and that a hearing is set for December.
In July, Anna went to Instagram to share several allegations against Kane, including infidelity. She claimed that Kane abandoned her and their then 1-year-old daughter and fled to Europe on holiday while their home was seized by the bank. Kane filed for bankruptcy in California in January. Anna also claimed that Kane, who has admitted that he had a gambling problem, had bet on Sharks and other NHL games.
At the time of Anna’s allegations, the NHL launched an investigation and later said they could not substantiate any of those allegations. Kane nekad the allegations, call the allegations “lies” in two statements on Twitter.
However, Kane was later suspended for 21 matches to use a fake vaccine card to get around the NHL’s rules for unvaccinated players. The first game in which he will be eligible to play is the Sharks’ matchup on November 30 with the Devils in Newark.
Kane was recently discovered with ex-girlfriend Mara Teigen, which he is rumored to meet again.
In 2018, the Sharks signed on to Kane for a seven-year contract of $ 49 million.
