This is the time of year again. The tent has been taken out of its two-year retirement and the gap is filled with sacred trumpet in Air Rusk: Wells, wet wipes (biodegradable, ugly) and a waterproof. It’s holiday season baby! And with 200,000 happy campers heading to Worth Farm this weekend, we prepare ourselves for summer like field dances, tent parties and peacocks.
Augustina Panzoni, Trends and Category Manager at Depp, says, “After two years of rescheduled events have finally come to fruition, it is no surprise that we are trying to go with the fabulous festive fashion that Was long awaited. ”
Even if you are traditionally a denim shorts and band t minimalist, this year is going to be really bold with your look. “We’ve seen tremendous use of color on the SS22 runways, which is a huge trend for festive outfits this summer,” said Lian Wiggins, head of women’s clothing at matches. From Y2K Vibes to Crochet and Acid Bright, read on for your eight step packing kit list.
Shirt and shorts set
When it comes to smoothing out your tent wardrobe, the chord of a brightly colored shirt and shorts is as sensible and pleasing as the one you hid in your sleeping bag. Wearing together, a shorts-shirt set (try after a few boxes of red stripe) is an easily cool picnic, portalo and dance floor friendly shape that works just as well with strappy sandals and shiny bikinis. As it does with white ankle socks. And trainers. And there are three clothes in one: wearing shorts with a white tank alone or a shirt thrown over swimmers after drowning in a lake. “We’ve seen a real influx of shirts this summer,” says Laby Page, senior market editor at Net-a-Porter, who told Matthew “for his cult-printed shirts, for Gucci’s Love Parade Collection.” she does. Flowers and Frankie Shop for an easy layering option.

Crochet bucket hat
With 21% searches on DePop in the last three months, bucket hats aren’t going anywhere as our festival favorite. Page agrees that this is the “style to look at this festive season”, but instead of following the crowd, why not choose a beautiful, crochet type bucket? Maje and Ganni both have crochet buckets for less than £ 100, while the latest drop from Loewe’s endless popular collaboration with Paula’s Ibiza is one of both white and black. Page says “From sequin mini dresses and bands to crochet, lou sling denim and psychedelic sets, Loewe x Paula’s Ibiza has moved to the next level by providing everything you need for your festive wardrobe.” Seriously for hot hippie vibes, Miu Miu and Valentino also have multi-colored replicas that are worthy of their own VIP wristbands.

Hands-free phone chain
Remembering the traces of the past while smoking our wallets and dance floor on our phones, there is no real need for this ugly bombshell full of this festive sin. Instead, why not invest in a blinking phone chain that leaves you hands-free with pint holdings and shapes. “Colorful pearl necklaces are poised to become a major summer trend,” says Page, who recommends the technical pearls of Martha Callo and Roxanne Osulin. Celeb fave String Ting makes candy-colored tech chains at £ 60 and under (go for longer lengths that allow for cross-body security), London label Chaos shines in the dark phone lanyard you’ll never lose in a tent Brands like Guy and Eliaow and Xou Xou make beautiful leather phone pouches on straps that make room for your lip balm and gums.

The Y2K trend is in vogue this summer, but if the low-slung cargo pants or butterfly top for your dance floor vibe looks a bit out of place, a pair of shades is the best way to immerse yourself in the trend Monday. Find colorful or rimless lenses (ASOS is yours to go), wrapping styles (try Balenciaga and Lexxola) and fun colors (Linda Farrow x The Attico is a great rectangular pair that comes in lime and fuchsia, 190).
