Neighbors has helped launch the careers of many music and acting stars during their 37-year stint on the screen.
The long-running Australian soap opera has come to an end, here are some famous faces who debuted on Ramsey Street:
Before being a pop superstar, Kylie Minogue played feisty tomboy mechanic Charlene Mitchell on Neighbors on the silver screen.
He was cast in 1986 and became a popular character alongside his on-screen partner Scott Robinson, played by Jason Donovan.
The episode of Their Wedding was watched by over two million Australian viewers when it first aired in 1987, and later drew nearly 20 million viewers when it was shown in the UK in 1988.
Minogue, 54, left the show in 1988, the same year she released her first studio album titled Kylie.
She went on to become one of the biggest pop artists in the world with several hit albums and singles including I Should Be So Lucky, Spinning Around and Can’t Get You Out of My Head.
The singer has won several awards including a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2004 and three Brit Awards in her career.

Donovan also rose to prominence in Neighbors, along with Minogue, after taking over the role of Scott from Darius Perkins in the show’s second series.
He starred on the show until 1989 before following in Minogue’s footsteps by pursuing a career in music.
His debut album, Ten Good Reasons, went to number one in the UK in 1989, and his subsequent albums were also successful.
Donovan, 54, has also appeared in several stage musicals, most notably the lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the early 1990s.
Before appearing in blockbuster films, Margot Robbie played the role of Donna Friedman on the Australian soap from 2008 to 2011.
The 32-year-old Queensland-born actress later went on to star in the period drama Pan Am and several films.
However, her breakthrough role came in 2013 when she played Naomi LaPaglia in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street opposite Leonardo DiCaprio.
Robbie has since starred in lead roles, including Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad franchise, Tonya Harding in I, Queen Elizabeth I in Tony, Mary Queen of Scots, and she will play the world famous doll in the upcoming Barbie film.
Liam, Chris and Luke Hemsworth
The Hemsworth brothers made appearances in Australian soap operas early in their careers.
Youngest brother Liam, 32, played Josh Taylor from 2007 to 2008, Chris, 38, starred as Jamie Kane in one episode, while eldest brother Luke, 41, played Nathan Tyson from 2001 to 2002.
They all went on to have successful acting careers with Luke, best known for her role as Ashley Stubbs in Westworld.
Liam’s breakthrough role came with his role as Gail Hawthorne in The Last Song and Hunger Games film series.
While Chris became a Hollywood star after playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Australian-British singer and actress Natalie Imbruglia, 47, was another star, playing Beth Brennan in the early 1990s.
She has appeared in several shows and films, including 2003’s Johnny English, as well as a successful singing career.
His most notable work came when he covered the song Torn for his debut studio album Left of the Middle in 1997.
Guy Pearce, 54, began his career as Mike Young, best friend of Donovan’s Scott and Minogue’s Charlene.
His part in the Australian soap helped launch his career in Hollywood, starring in big-budget films such as L.A. Confidential, The Time Machine and Christopher Nolan’s Memento.
Jesse Spencer, 43, starred in the soap opera playing Billy Kennedy from 1994 to 2000, as well as in 2005.
He starred in a more long-running series, playing Dr. Robert Chase in the medical drama House and Captain Matthew Casey in the Chicago Fire drama.
Singer Delta Goodrem also began her artistic career playing the shy schoolgirl and aspiring singer Nina Tucker on the soap opera from 2002 to 2005.
He released his debut album Innocent Eyes while starring on the show and has since produced six more studio albums.
Goodrem, 37, has also served as a coach on The Voice Australia and The Voice Kids.
