Model Christen Harper begins its Thanksgiving with a little Lions football.
Ahead of boyfriend Jared Goff’s match against the Bears on Thursday, Harper showed off her game day gear on Instagram when she went to Ford Field in Detroit.
“Good day for some football !!” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Stunning wrote on his Instagram Story. “Go lion.”
In a post, Harper is seen modeling a black T-shirt with Goff’s name written throughout, along with a black puffer jacket, skinny jeans and black boots.
Goff, who did not play in last Sunday’s loss to the Browns with a crooked injury, he threw a touchdown on the Lions’ opening run on Thursday.
An earlier choice in the first round, Goff switched to Lions in the offseason of the Rams, who acquired quarterback Matthew Stafford in return. In response to the bestseller, Harper – which was first linked to Goff 2019 – wrote a touching message to her quarterback beau.
“So grateful I got to be a part of this journey with you over the last three seasons in LA,” Harper wrote on Instagram in February. “@Jaredgoff I love you so much and so excited for his new adventure.”
Unfortunately for Goff, his new adventure in Detroit you have been rocky. Not only is the Lions NFL’s only undefeated team (0-9-1, to be exact), but Goff recently received lukewarm support from coach Dan Campbell.
“Well, it’s hard to say he should not be the guy right now. It’s hard to say, man, because [if you say], ‘Oh man, do this throw’ – yes again, every time we try to throw it and dropped back, almost, our protection breaks, ‘Campbell told reporters earlier this month, according to Pro Football Talk.
And so until we can do things around him … Now, yes, there are throws we want to see he has to do. It was an arrow we threw to “Lif” [Kalif Raymond] which we should do and he’s pissed off about that too. But in the end, I still think right now, that he’s the guy who gives us the best chance, he continued.
So far this season, Goff has completed 66 percent of his passes.
