The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, concludes the week by chairing his regular morning conference with the media.
This time, President Irapuato is visiting Guanajuato.
At the beginning of the act, López Obrador assured that the security of the entity will be strengthened with more parts of the National Guard, to deal with cases of murder and extortion.
In this regard, Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo noted a 42.8 percent reduction in the incidence of crime per 100,000 inhabitants.
“Coordinated work is yielding results,” he said, adding that although murder continues to be the main problem in the state, Guanajuato is no longer the first place in crime.
