A dog was rescued Thursday morning at the Staples-Cerro de la Estrella interstate on Line 8 of the Metro Collective Transportation System (STC).
It was the transportation crew that cut the current on the line to save the dog.
One metro user was the one who saw the train landing at Atletico station and informed the STC staff.
Immediately, drivers were instructed to redouble their efforts to locate the dog on the road.
In the aforementioned interaction, the Creole dog was spotted and, after being cut off for a minute and a half, was rescued at Istalappa station.

Metro reported that banking and industrial police elements have assigned line 8 security work.
