Glasgow Rangers will appoint Dave Vos as the latest member of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s backroom team at Ibrox.
What is the talk?
It shows a report from a Dutch newspaper By Telegraaf (via Daily record), who claims that Vos has informed Ajax that he will leave the club to become one of the 46-year-old coach’s assistants on the Premier League side, after the likes of Roy Maakay, Arno Phillips and Yori Bosschart to Ibrox.
The Record goes on to state that the deal for Vos has been brokered by Van Bronckhorst’s agent Guido Albers, where the former Ajax U18 coach put the pen to paper on a contract until either 2024 or 2025.
Do you think GVB will succeed at Gers?
And that is
Fans will buzz
Given how highly ranked you are as a coach, the news will be that the 38-year-old has left his role in the Netherlands in favor of a switch to Glasgow to make the club’s fans buzz.
It really is you reported to have received his undergraduate education at the Central Institute Training Sports Leaders – in the footsteps of the prestigious Dutch coach Louis van Gaal – and then studied at Cruyff University, before completing his professional football coaching course last year – with De Telegraaf dubbing him a “ambitious coach. “
The coach then got a job at Ajax, worked his way up through the club’s various age groups and was finally appointed U18 manager at the beginning of this season.
As such, the 38-year-old’s appointment looks set to be incredibly exciting for everyone involved in Rangers, as Vos has helped develop a number of exceptionally talented players in the famous Ajax youth system in recent years, something he will no doubt try to replicate in Scotland.
If he achieves that in his new environment, he will surely be a big hit in the Premier League together with van Bronckhorst in what could be a dream combination at Ibrox.
