At least seven people were killed when a car crashed into a sandstorm in Utah on Sunday, officials said.
The Utah Public Safety Department said in a statement that about 20 vehicles were involved in the 4:30 p.m. crash on I-15 in Milliard County.
Several people were seriously injured in the devastation and were taken to area hospitals.
After the catastrophe, the intra-state was closed in both directions. Fox 13 reported.
The sandstorm was caused by strong winds in the area, officials said.

“We are shocked and saddened by the horrific accident in Millard County,” Cox wrote.
“We pray for the loved ones of those who died and for those who fought for their lives.”
