Swansea City’s 2022/23 Championship Fixtures in Full as Russell Martin’s Men face Rotherham United on Opening Day

Swansea City began their 2022/23 Championship campaign at Rotherham United.

The Swans are set to begin their second campaign under Russell Martin and take on the newly-promoted Millers at New York Stadium on Saturday, July 30, on the opening weekend of the new season. Their first home match for the upcoming term sees Swansea host Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, August 6.

They then face Blackpool, Millwall, Luton Town, Middlesbrough and Stoke City, who have a busy August schedule, including the start of their Carabao Cup attack. The first South Meczyki Derby sees Martin’s men host Cardiff City at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday, 22 October, with a return match played in the capital on Saturday, 1 April 2023.

The Swans’ final home game before the World Cup break welcome Wigan Athletic to South Meczyki on Saturday, 5 November, while they travel to Huddersfield Town seven days later, before the schedule is halted for a month as Meczyki Head of Qatar.

Martin’s former club Norwich City travel to Swansea on 10 December, the first fixture since the break, with Swansea heading to Coventry City a week later.

Swansea then returned to action against Reading at Select Car Leasing Stadium on Boxing Day before hosting Watford on 29 December, which would be their last home game of the calendar year. Burnley will visit Swansea.com Stadium on New Year’s Day, and Jack Army will make the long trip to newly-promoted Sunderland two weeks later for the first away league match of 2023.

The Swans travel to Hull City for their final away championship game of the campaign on Saturday, 29 April, before playing against West Brom at home a week later to kick off the regular season. The fixtures are available in full below:
