The Chihuahuan team makes its debut in the American professional league

Chihuahua.— The city of Chihuahua declares itself ready to write history by entering a professional sports league in the United States for the first time.

Savage CUU with a squad of 29 players, 22 of them from Chihuahuas, so it is practically a base and local identity, made his official presentation at home, this afternoon at the Corner Sports Facility before his debut in the Major Arena Soccer League Division 1 and whose initials is MASL for the 2021-2022 season which begins next December 15 and visits the team from Ontario, California.

MASL 1 Commissioner Keith Tozer was present at the event, welcoming the wild Chihuahuan team who assured that the Chihuahua will be in the eyes of indoor soccer in the United States.

Savage, who in 2020 was declared the undefeated champion of the MASL Division 2 regular season, will make his debut in the top class of the Western Conference.

It is important to note that Savage will be the only Mexican team this season after refusing to participate in Soles de Sonora and Flash de Monterrey.

The first home game will be at the new Arena Corner Sport which will be inaugurated soon and its presentation will be on January 21, 2022, when the Savage CUU will be received in San Diego Sugar.
