Here are your latest headlines on Thursday, June 23 …

Benfica took the initiative for Enzo Fernandez.

The wolves must move swiftly to sign Enzo Fernandez after signing with River Plate to land Benfica’s midfielder.

Fernandez has been identified as a candidate to fill the ‘box-to-box’ space at Bruno Lodge’s midfield and the Wolves are ready to meet his buy-out clause on River Plate. The Wolves want Fernandez to join them now, while Argentina wants to stay on the river to help them win the Copa Libertadores.

Benfica is reportedly ready to leave Fernandez in Argentina until the river joins the Copa Libertadores. It is claimed that they have agreed to pay 18 million euros for 75% of Fernandez’s rights, while River has maintained the 25% sale clause.

At this stage, it remains to accept Benfica’s offer for Fernandez. The wolves have to offer the same deal to control the 21-year-old.

Hoover touches the future.

Ki-Jana Hoever closes on return to Holland with PSV Eindhoven.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been ruled out of the Hoover Bruno League and the club are trying to offload them this summer. Wolf Hoever is open for a loan of یا 20 or a permanent exit, and PSV has moved on.

The right-back played only eight games in the Premier League last season and has not been featured in the league since being called up by the Wolves’ boss in March due to poor preparation. Hoover was injured in the early stages of the defeat at Crystal Palace and the league blew up the defender’s request at a post-match press conference.

Hoover has been frustrated by the Portuguese’s lack of playing time since signing for Liverpool around 2020 10million in 2020. Hoover played fewer games in the league than in 2020/21, while Nono Esprito was head coach at Santo Molinux.

Looks like his wolf nightmare is fading. The ED claims that an agreement has been reached for Hoover to join PSV on loan. For the 2022/23 season. Hoover touches Eindhoven tomorrow for his medical and PSV expects to complete the deal this week.

Gabigol wants to transfer love.

Wolverhampton Wanderers is the latest Premier League club to be linked with a move by Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa.

Samba star Barbosa – commonly known as Gabigol – is expected to return to Europe in the near future after failing at Inter Milan. Gabigol was on Inter’s books for four years, but spent most of that time on loan at Brazilian clubs Santos and Flamingo.

He fired Flamingo from the Copa Libertadores title in 2019 and made his transfer permanent the following year. Gabigol has scored 54 goals in Brazil’s 84 top flight matches for Flamengo, while his record in the Copa Libertadores is 25 goals in 36 games.

Austin Villa were heavily involved in Gabigol’s move in the January transfer window, while West Ham, Newcastle United, Everton and Arsenal have recently been cited as potential destinations for the 25-year-old.

Now the Wolves, eager to sign a new center forward this summer, are reportedly looking to Gabigol. Reports claim that the wolves are heading to South America in an attempt to complete deals between Gabigol and Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

Gabigol is reportedly set to move to the Premier League and has revealed his plans to follow in the footsteps of his Brazilian teammate Roberto Fermino.

Back in 2019, Gabigol said Daily Mail: “Fermino is very good, I really appreciate him. He has been successful in Europe for many years. He is a strong forward and he has been great for Brazil. He is an inspiration I hope.

“It will be a pleasure to play with him. Maybe in the future we will have a team for Brazil and Liverpool is a team that everyone wants to play for.”
