All-Pro defensive end Chandler Jones has reportedly asked the Cardinals for a trade deal because he was unhappy with the deal.
Jones, who is entering the final season of the five-year-old .582.5 million ($ 31 million guaranteed), also plans to report to training camp on Tuesday. According to ESPN. (NFL players who leave training camp are subject to fines.)
It is not clear what Jones is looking for in a new deal.
The 31-year-old appeared in just five games last year with a biceps injury and pulled out a sack. But Jones had a great 2019 season, hitting 19 quarterbacks and making eight appearances on all three recoveries.
Jones has 97 sacks in his nine-year career, beginning with the Patriots, before he was traded to Arizona in 2016.
