Wired Kohli’s problem with the bat in the game’s longest format

Virat Kohli has been struggling with the bat in test cricket for a long time now. The skipper has not been close to his best and it has been over two years since he last registered a century in international cricket.

The 33-year-old has been through a difficult patch since his last ton against Bangladesh at home in November 2019. Since the beginning of 2020, the Delhi-born has played in 20 tests for India. However, he has failed to make a big impression with the bat both at home and away.

In 21 rounds, Virat Kohli only managed to get 563 runs on an average of 26.80. Kohli surpassed the 50 runs on five occasions, with a maximum score of 74.

In the four Test matches I have played in India, Virat got only 172 runs with an average of close to 29 during this time.

Under the knowledgeable leadership of Sanjay Bangar before the next Teste fans will hope to see the legendary batter back at its best within a few days from now.
