What Ralf Rangnick said about Manchester United 2019

With Ralf Rangnick, everything is ready to be Manchester Uniteds new interim manager, reports appear about his comments about Manchester United 2019.

When interviewed by the Times in 2019, Rangnick talked about the club’s condition since Sir Alex Ferguson left. He also pointed out the mistakes that Manchester United have made in the transfer market in recent years. He said:

“Since Sir Alex left, they have underperformed. They have not won the title since he left. At any club, if you can not get the right player, at least you should not recruit wrong.”

Rangnick was looking to become Manchester United’s temporary coach after José Mourinho was fired in 2019. When asked to confirm these rumors, Rangnick replied:

“Then you have to have the best possible coaches to develop these players. There is a lot of room for a vision for #mufc, but I’m very happy where I am. “

Rangnick was also contacted by Chelsea to become their caretaker after the dismissal Frank Lampard, but he rejected the offer by saying:

“I’m not a temporary coach. For the media and players, you would be a four-month manager.”

His approach is focused on a very pressing football style, being proactive and entertaining at the same time.
